I am delighted to welcome you to the new Talbot Suites at Stonebridge, a unique luxury self-catering experience. A member of The Talbot Collection, our apartments are situated on the quay front, in the heart of Wexford Town, just under a 2-minute walk from the main town centre.

Our aim is to provide you with excellent facilities and an authentic Irish experience of superior customer service. All of of our apartments are fully equipped to a high standard and are fully secure. We endeavour to do our very best to ensure that your stay with us is a pleasant one. Our sister property, the Talbot Hotel Wexford is located 100m away along the quay. Their award-winning restaurant, Oysterlane Restaurant services breakfast and evening meals. They also serve food in the Ballast Bank Bar with traditional carvery lunch and casual dining. The Ballast Bank Bar is the perfect location to relax with a drink and there is live music on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday each week.

Talbot Fitness Leisure Centre is located on the first floor of the hotel which you have complimentary access to during your stay.

There are a number of electrical appliances in your apartment. Please find a User Manual for all appliances in the inside pocket of this guest directory.

Babysitting Services

Babysitting services are available upon request at €12.00 per hour. All of our Babysitters are highly experienced and Garda vetted. Please contact reception on Ext 0 at your earliest convenience.


All apartments are accessible from exterior balcony corridors. Please exercise caution when walking along balcony corridors on upper levels especially with small children. Most apartments have a balcony off of the living area. BBQs are not permitted on the balcony. Hanging clothes to dry is not permitted on the balcony.

Bottle Opener

There is a bottle opener in the kitchen of your apartment.

Business Centre

Fax services, copying, printing and scanning are just a few of the services offered at reception. An iPad terminal with internet access and printing facilities is also available and is located on the ground floor beside reception.

Camp Beds

Some apartments have a camp bed in the living area. To open the camp bed, remove the cushion and pull lever 1, then pull lever 2, then pull lever 3. To close the camp bed, push lever 3, then push lever 2, then push lever 1.   Replace cushions.

Car Parking

Parking is located in the multi-storey car park adjoining the complex and is complimentary for our guests.

Your key card will allow you access into the car park during your stay. Please ensure that you drive to the level you are staying on and park in any car park space. There is a set down area available on each level.

Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EV)

Talbot Suites at Stonebridge has 4 designated Electric Vehicle charging spaces that are situated on level 1 our carpark . 

The charging spaces operate on a first come, first serve model and we do not take reservations for charging sessions. 

We operat 2 22KW charges (type 2 socket).

To charge your vehicle, you will need to become a member of Easygo network.

Coffee Machine

All apartments contain a Coffee Machine with a starter pack of 2 coffee pods supplied. Instructions on how to use the Coffee Machine are in the Appliances User Manual. Should you wish to purchase more coffee pods, please visit reception.

Comment Cards

We really appreciate it when our guests take the time to share their feedback with us. Please fill in the guest comment card located in your welcome pack which you received on check in. Also if there was any employee you would like to acknowledge, we would love to hear from you. Please leave your comment card on the table in the hallway of your apartment before you check out.

Guests have full access to Food & Beverage Services at Talbot Hotel Wexford during your stay.

Oysterlane Restaurant

Breakfast is served in the Oysterlane Restaurant on the ground floor of the Talbot Hotel Wexford from 7.00am to 11.00am.


Breakfast prices are as follows:

Full Irish Breakfast: €13.50pp 

Continental Breakfast: €8.50pp 

Room Service Charge: €4.50 per person 


Dinner is served in the Oysterlane Restaurant from 6.00pm—9.00pm from Sunday to Thursday and from 6.30pm –9.00pm  each Friday and Saturday. Booking is essential, please call reception on Ext 0.

Carvery Lunch is served in the Oyster Lane Restaurant on Sundays from 12pm - 2.30pm.

The Ballast Bank Bar & Grill is located on the ground floor of the Talbot Hotel Wexford.

The Gallery

The Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Talbot Hotel Wexford. The Gallery serves Tea, Coffee, Sandwiches, Pastries from 8am - 11pm Daily. Afternoon Tea is available in The Gallery from 12pm - 6pm daily. Booking is advised. Please contact reception on Ext 0.



There is a dishwasher located in the kitchen of your apartment. One dishwasher tablet is supplied. For instructions on how to use the dishwasher please see the Appliances User Manual.

Laundry & Pressing

A Washing Machine and Dryer is located in the utility room in your apartment. There is also an iron and ironing board in the utility room should you require it.


The electrical current is 220 volts. Adaptors are available in the vending machine located on the ground floor behind reception. For assistance please dial Ext 0.


Should an emergency arise, please dial Ext 0 immediately to state the type of emergency and your location.


Recycling and waste dustbins are located in the kitchen of your apartment. All bedrooms contain a recycling bin for newspapers, magazines, books, paper, tetra pak, PET bottles i.e. Coca Cola bottles, water bottles etc.  All bathrooms contain a waste bin for used toiletries, tissues, polystyrene disposable cups etc.

First Aid

There is a First Aid Box in the utility room in your apartment. If you require medical attention please contact reception on Ext 0.

There is a hairdryer supplied in the utility room in your apartment.


Gas Central Heating is in all apartments. You can control this from your utility room.


Should you require additional pillows or blankets they are located in the wardrobe in each bedroom of your apartment. For a full cleaning service at an additional cost of €50 or for other services, please contact reception on Ext 0.

Internet Access

We provide complimentary high speed wireless (WiFi) internet access in every apartment & in public areas. There are also iPads available for use at reception with internet access.

Iron/Ironing Board

There is an Iron and an Ironing Board located in the utility room of your apartment.

Key Cards

Your key card is electronically encoded and for your security the apartment number is not indicated on the card. All areas of the complex including car park, entrance doors to reception, access to apartment levels and apartment doors require your key card to access. Please do not walk around the complex without your key card. Should you lose your card, please inform reception immediately. A new card will then be issued to you, while the old one will be cancelled automatically. On the day of your departure the card will cease to work after 10am. If you require any further assistance please contact reception on Ext 0. All key cards must be returned to             reception on departure.

Leisure Centre

Talbot Fitness Leisure Centre is located on the first floor of the Talbot Hotel Wexford and is accessible from King Street or through hotel reception. All our guests can enjoy complimentary use of the Quay Leisure Centre. For more information please contact the leisure centre on Ext 344. Please call for opening times.

You will need to present your apartment key card on arrival and to access the link corridor to the leisure centre in the hotel. Towels will be provided on arrival and must not be removed from the leisure centre.

¨ If you wish to use the gym, please check in with a member of staff. If you have any illness/injury please alert the instructor/lifeguard. You must wear trainers in the gym if you wish to use the equipment.

¨ Swimming caps must be worn in the pool at all times. Swimming caps are available at Talbot Fitness reception for a small charge.

¨ Complimentary Towels are available for your use at the Quay Leisure Centre and must not be removed from the Leisure Centre.

¨ Lockers are provided in the leisure centre, please present your apartment key.

¨ Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted in Talbot Suites at Stonebridge. Exceptions are made only for Guide Dogs or for dogs assisting law enforcement officials while performing their duties.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Safe Deposit Boxes are located in each apartment. We strongly suggest that you protect your valuables by placing them in the Safe Deposit Box.

Smoking Facilities

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments or in the public areas. It is permitted on apartment balconies only. A Cigarette Vending Machine is located on the ground floor of the Talbot Hotel Wexford with tokens available at hotel reception or in the Ballast Bank Bar. Please note that if you smoke in one of our Non Smoking apartments a €150.00 charge will be added to your bill to cover the cost of cleaning.

Talbot Hotel Wexford

Our sister property is located 100m from the complex on the Quay. All our guests have complimentary use of the Quay Leisure Centre located on the first floor of the hotel. Guests have full access to Food and Beverage Services of the hotel including The Gallery, Oyster Lane Restaurant and Ballast Bank Bar & Grill. Should you wish to make a booking at the Talbot Hotel Wexford or require further information please contact reception on Ext 0.

Vending Machine

Due to fire regulations any visitors that you have during your stay should sign in at reception.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures


Fire Evacuation


1. On Discovering a Fire, raise the Alarm, stay Calm.


The alarm can be activated by breaking the glass on any red fire alarm activation point or by dialling reception at Ext 0.


2. Close all Doors and Windows.


Do this to prevent the spread of smoke and fire, only if it is safe to do so.


3. Evacuate all Occupants from the Danger Area.


Make sure all occupants of your apartment are accounted for. If they are in another part of the complex, leave by the emergency exits and report the situation to the Fire Warden at the Assembly.


4. Do Not attempt to fight the Fire.


5. Do not stop to collect any luggage.


6. Leave the building by the nearest emergency exit.


If the corridor or the emergency stairwells are blocked or full of smoke, return to your apartment. Close the door and telephone reception informing them of your location. If you encounter smoke, stay near the floor where the most fresh air will be found. If possible put sheets and towels around the bottom of the door.


7. Do not return for any personal belongings.


8. On leaving the complex, go straight to the guest assembly point.


The quickest route to the assembly point from your emergency exit is clearly indicated on the emergency      evacuation procedures displayed on the back of your door. The assembly point is located on the ground floor at the set down area next to the old stone building near reception


What to do in an Emergency


The complex is equipped with a State of the Art Fire Detection and Alarm system, which offers our guests the best protection in the event of a fire. Detectors are located throughout the complex and in all apartments and public areas. Both Fire instructions and evacuation procedures are displayed on the back of each entry door to the apartment. Please allow a few moments to familiarize yourself with the instructions and read the following.


Fire Alarm Test


The Fire alarm system is tested every Monday at 11am. Please respond to all other alarm activation and follow the emergency procedures displayed on the back of your door. Go to the emergency exits on your floor and know where they are. Count the number of doors you pass from your apartment to the exit. This will help you find the exits if you evacuate in dark or smoky conditions.

Should you require any special assistance in the event of an evacuation please advise reception upon arrival.


Fire Extinguishers


The complex is protected by handheld extinguishers, which are situated at Fire points and are clearly marked. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket located in the utility room of your apartment. Please familiarise yourself with this. For your safety and the safety of others please remove all electrical appliances from their sockets when not in use. Please report all electrical problems to reception. The complex is committed to    providing all our visitors & guests with a safe environment during their stay with us. The complex is constantly reviewing its emergency procedures to maintain the highest standard of safety.
